From USA Today Bestselling Author K Webster comes a new motorcycle club dark standalone MM romance novel!

They created this monster when they took me as a teen.
Abused me, tortured me, psychologically ruined me.
I was once innocent, fragile, and good.
Now I’m older and everything wicked.
The worst of the worst.

I’m filled with fiery rage and burn with the need to avenge the death of the boy I used to be.
Vicious and violent and vindictive.
A metaphorical dragon among men, thirsty to set fire to them all.

Only my mission of depraved justice will have to wait because Prez needs me for something else. If he wasn’t single-handedly responsible for dragging me from the sick nightmare my life had become, I’d tell him exactly where to shove his stupid idea of putting me on babysitting duty.

My charge is a prospect.
Not just any prospect, but the young, innocent Cove Gale who shouldn’t be within a hundred-mile radius of this vile club I call home.
I’m supposed to be keeping him safe.
But Cove’s a reckless brat with a mouth that begs for trouble.

Prez should know better than to give me a toy to play with.
I break things and I’ll break him too.

The prospect is just a boy.
And he’s just unleashed the dragon…

***This is a gay romance and the third book in the RBMC: Tulsa, OK series. It can be read as a standalone but may be better enjoyed after reading the first two, Koyn and Copper. Koyn and Copper are both MF stories while this one is MM.***

*4.5* I did this book a disservice by not reading the previous two in the series. There were quite a few side characters and storylines that I couldn’t follow.

This entire paragraph went right over my head.
Stormy and Filter have history. She’d been an undercover Fed using Filter to get to Koyn and Copper. When she thought Prez’s ol’ lady, Hadley or PG as everyone calls her, was being hurt by Koyn, she blew her cover to save PG.

What? Who? Don’t be like me, read book one and two before reading this one!

This is a DARK story, with humorous light undertones.
Enemies to lovers
Grumpy growly/saucy bitchy
Graphic murder/revenge
Child abuse
Human trafficking
Rape

Despite all of the dark, I really loved these two men together. They were the ideal yin-yang of balance when together.
I like the way he makes me feel when I’m with him.

Valued. Wanted. Craved. Needed.
Once they let down their metaphorical walls, they were on fire in the bedroom. Hot hot hot.

I really love this authors voice and strength of character writing. Even though I felt like I was dropped into a world without knowing any of the characters or their backgrounds, I could still feel their depth.

Now I have to save up my reading funds to purchase the first two books!

*Another excellent recommendation from Dan.

***I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.***

I absolutely adore this diabolically fun motorcycle romance. I particularly enjoyed the darker aspects of this story, which allowed the main characters to display their possessive instincts and passion for one another while healing from their shared trauma.

Dragon surprised me with the sensitive topics covered throughout this story. Both main characters, Dragon and Cove are haunted by their past and connect over their shared trauma and this connection leads to a passionately possessive and all-consuming love that cannot be ignored.

K. Webster weaves together a story that is filled with rich characters and storylines that are interconnected and flawless executed. I loved visiting this MC world and enjoying the journey of reaching Cove and Dragon's HEA, which did not disappoint. I fully recommend this thrilling love story navigates the right balance between romance and suspense.

BR with the lovely Cassandra

Not gonna lie, I was real worried about this one. Dragon was built up so much throughout the first two books that I feared he wouldn’t be everything I hoped for. But he was everything and more.

I loved Dragon when he was crazy. I loved him even more when it became obvious that he was broken. I loved him when he became fragile. But I love him most of all when he’s falling in love with Cove.

And Cove is perfect for Dragon. He makes him feel things Dragon thought he lost after his imprisonment. And then when he starts to heal him … God, it’s so fucking beautiful.

Cove is bratty and sassy and once you get passed his rocky exterior he’s just as broken as Dragon. He’s sweet, loving and compassionate.

I absolutely love the push and pull between them. That Cove is hard pressed to admit that Dragon means more than a fuck. That Dragon loves his smart mouth. Both in and out of the bedroom, these two spark and burn.

Outside of their little love fest we carry on where Copper left off with Night Giant. With both boys need for revenge, especially Dragons. There were a few twists and turns that I didn’t see coming. And that ending brought us full circle, just how I like it.

And that epilogue couldn’t have made me happier. I’m so glad that couple got their HEA, they definitely deserved it.

⭐︎4.25 stars!⭐︎

As someone who didn't read the previous two books in the series, I think after a bit I was able to get the general gist of what had happened perviously and how Dragon - real name Chase - and Cove know each other and how their dynamic came to be.

I loved their chemistry. It was so good. It kept me reading, and then I just got immersed in this world.

Dragon seems pretty psychotic, but really he's just deeply, deeply broken and traumatized and being how he is now is how he's able to put one foot in front of the other. It's how he protects himself.

Cove understandably hates Dragon at first, though. In the beginning, we learn (if we didn't read the pervious book, I'm guessing) that Cove and his two sisters were taken by the same twisted fuck who took Dragon when he was only 16 and held him captive for two years and did unspeakably horrible things to him.

Dragon, who is older now - maybe 27, 28 I believe - was taken again by this sick fuck, who seems to have a hold over him, and in the beginning we see that he was forced to rape Cove, except Cove's older sister Stormy - the MC of the pervious book - stepped in and he raped her instead. Although to me, seeing as how Dragon was forced to do it, I see it more as the sick fuck raping them both, because both didn't have a choice. Stormy doesn't seem to blame Dragon in this, too. After they got out of the situation, Cove, Stormy and Cove's twin sister Calla was also taken in by the Royal Bastards MC like Dragon had been when he escaped the first time when he was 18.

But Cove, understandably, still seems to hate Dragon for it - and just for Dragon being Dragon. Cove might be more on the innocent side and still young - he's 19 in this, close to 20 - but he's got a mouth on him, and isn't afraid to stand up to Dragon.

But Dragon also apparently in the last book promised Stormy that he would look after Cove, so even when Cove wants him to leave him alone, he doesn't.

When MC business eventually leads to info on where Night Giant (the alias of the sick fuck) is, Dragon wants to strike. He's been waiting for his revenge for over 10 years. He has no qualms about making him suffer, either.

Also, because of what Dragon went through, he hasn't wanted to have sex with anyone since before he taken at 16. But with Cove, Dragon feels that attraction, lust and longing.

Cove makes Dragon feel more human, more normal. Which he hasn't felt in so long.

And Cove is a little into the danger that is Dragon, who is a BAMF but also, of course sexy AF. And as much as Cove loves to mouth off that he hates Dragon or doesn't want him, he really does.

Their sex scenes were hot, the chemistry was palpable, and I loved reading these two together. They did some slightly kinky stuff, but it didn't go too extreme.

Once these two started kissing and more with each other, I loved how they just became each other's...well, everything.

I was wondering how the book would show growing love between them, and overall it did it pretty well. With Dragon's walls upon walls, I wasn't sure we'd get there, but when he was alone with Cove, he showed a vulnerability and humanity he never really showed before. And then because of events later on, he was able to heal enough to let Cove more into his walls, and even say "I love you" to him.

If it's done well, I'm such a sucker for the "I only love you, but will fuck up anyone else, especially if they try to harm you in anyway" dynamic. Even though Cove is a sassy little fucker, he still isn't anywhere near on Dragon's level of intensity and fucked-upness, and even though he got annoyed or angry at Dragon's overprotectiveness of him, it was still hot AF when he fucked someone up who dared to mess with Cove.

My only reasoning for taking .75 stars off and thus rounding down to 4 stars, is that I wanted more of this. I wanted more of these two. It felt like it went by really fast, and while the plot was good and the characters were great, I just...wanted more. It didn't feel like enough of these two. I kind of wish we had gotten more of them just in the biker world doing biker things while being a couple.

I also wish the epilogue hadn't been focused on the next couple (especially when it's m/f sorry :/) and we barely got a sentence checking in on these two (at least they were getting hot and heavy? lol)

I'm just not a fan of an epilogue that doesn't focus on the main couple of the book, especially when I already felt like I hadn't gotten enough of these two. So, because of that, I gave .75 stars off and rounded down.

But overall, this was really good and I read it really fast, couldn't put it down. I didn't want it to end, too, which is always a good sign.

So I personally think this is worth a read, whether you've read the first two m/f books or not. Of course, heed the trigger warnings at the beginning and proceed with caution, because this does deal with very heavy topics like rape and torture and the trauma from that. It also doesn't skip out on some very gory scenes, with Dragon being the one doing the gory stuff. But if you're okay with reading that stuff, then definitely give this a try.

The chemistry alone, and connection between these two, is worth it. If there's one thing this author does well, it's that push and pull, enemies-to-lovers dynamic. Give me that snark and "hatred" followed by really hot, passionate sex that leads to love, mhmmm.

So a definite thumbs up from me. I wish this series had more m/m (or all m/m ;)) though. But this author is still primarily m/f, which is fine. I just gotta keep my eyes peeled for all the m/m goodies😁

I loved Dragon and Cove's story. This couple met in the cruelest and most sadistic of places, and now that they are safe and living within the RBMC they are bound together because of the past but what about the future?
Cove/BP is a sassy, mouthy young man who is still struggling with the nightmare that Night Giant wreaked on him and his siblings. And Dragon is looking for vengeance on this twisted man who took away his young life and made him lose so much of himself.
K has given us a sensational and heartbreaking story of lost innocence, retribution, and redemption.

Two broken Royal Bastards members.
This is the story of Dragon/Chase and Cove/ Baby Prospect.
▪️Enemies to lovers
▪️MM
▪️Damaged souls

So book three leaves off pretty much where book two ends and that is the rescue of many characters from a sex trafficker named Night Giant. Who also is Dragons kidnapper and tormenter years ago. This story is about finding Night Giant to take down his sex trafficking ring and to seek revenge for all of the horrible and sick shit this man has done.
“Prez should know better than to give me a toy to play with. I break things and I’ll break him too.”

Baby Prospect is angry. He’s openly gay and frustrated over his fling getting back getting back with his wife and he’s just an angry young man. He has his own demons to deal with and really does not like Dragon.
Dragon however, loves to pick on him and get him all flustered and angry.
“All the fear I felt at being held captive and forced to perform a sex act on that monster has dissipated. All the remains of anger. And him.”

We really get to see the inner turmoil that’s in Dragon’s head and what exactly Night Giant did to him. He’s definitely got a lot of inner demons. And it all comes to play when his family has to get involved.. especially when his family hasn’t seen him in 10 years.

During the chaos and the emotional adventure of trying to find Night Giant, these to end up hooking up. It’s not instantaneous love. It starts out as just two people having really good sex and that’s it. But somewhere down this emotional journey and connection they have, they do end up getting feelings for each other.
“His words expose parts of me I’ve been trying to keep hidden. Loneliness. Despair. The egg to be loved and needed and adored.”

This was not my favorite book of the series at all. It struggled to keep my attention. Which is actually a first for me for a K. Webster book.
The revenge is pretty quick. And there is a epilogue for two other characters that I got really interested in quick but it sounds like this series is ending on Dragon. Which makes me so sad because I actually love this world Royal Bastards.
“He’s fire and I am timber. I wanna burn only for him.”

Get ready to meet Dragon! Chase aka Dragon was saved by the RBMC’s President and now runs with them. When asked to keep watch on the new prospect, Cove Gale aka BP, he of course says yes but is that a good idea. Dragon is still haunted by the past and Cove is apart of that. I don’t want to say too much and give anything away. This is definitely not for the faint of heart as it is quite raw and graphic with difficult topics. However, if you love a gritty, real events MM, MC romance you will want to pick this up! Lots of action, intense chemistry and all the shenanigans within the RBMC. These two damaged enemies just might be what the other needs to heal. This does come with a trigger warning as it deals with past abuse. Dragon and BP’s push and pull is the perfect combination and explosive! A must read addition to this series. Told in dual POV

5 WOW Stars!

This is third book in the Royal Bastards MC series and can be read as a standalone which I did but I think I would have gotten even more enjoyment out of it if I had read the previous books. I would also like to point out that this story has some very dark elements to it that could be very triggering so be sure to read and heed the warning if dark content bothers you.

Dragon (Chase) was a teen when he was taken by Night Giant and made into the monster that he thinks he is. His young life and innocence was stripped from him and now he walks the line between psychopath and normal. Dragon is such a damaged soul but somewhere in there are shards of his humanity just begging to come forth. He was rescued and Prez made him a part of their MC and gave him a life. Despite being vengeful, violent and angry he mourns the boy he used to be and uses his new life with his MC brothers to forge ahead.

Cove is young and was in a situation that involved Night Giant, his sisters and Dragon and he carries that shame, guilt and trauma from that experience. Despite his misplaced anger at Dragon, he is also attracted to Dragon's darkness and possessiveness. When Cove is a prospect for the MC, the two of them are thrown together and their blazing sexual tension explodes. But Night Giant is still on the loose and both Dragon and Cove are out for vengeance. But will that vengeance come at a price? Can Cove and Dragon heal each other? Will their broken pieces fit?

I've said it before but no one writes MM romance like K. Webster. This was on the shorter side but still packed the heat, feels and action that I always expect from her. The intimacy between Dragon and Cove was off the charts hot, raw and passionate. This story ripped so many emotions from me from anger to sadness to happiness. And the suspenseful action kept me on the edge of my seat.

I loved Dragon. He was such a complex character. He was domineering, possessive, obsessive and had a one track mind on Cove but there was also a vulnerable and sweet side to him that just made you want to give him a big hug. Cove was also an amazing character. While he was written to be smaller and not as alpha as Dragon, he held his own in other ways. I loved the two of them together...their love was so authentic. Despite what both had been through, I enjoyed reading how each picked up the pieces of their broken selves and made themselves stronger. I liked that they were two halves of a whole but both Dragon and Cove had unique selves that set them apart.

Honestly, I can't say enough about how great this story was. While not an easy read at times and quite heartbreaking, it was also a story about finding your person who accepts all your flaws and never letting them go. A story of pain and triumph but ultimately a story about the power of love, affection and acceptance. If you like steamy MM reads with a lot of heart, go read this.

Plot Summary :
Dragon has always been a complicated character. He was a normal guy with dreams once until he was stolen by the devil. Everything he knew including his dignity was ripped away from him, leaving him an empty shell of a monster with only revenge on mind. Nothing made him feel until he met a certain young prospect. Cove was everything he once was and he knew that he would corrupt someone as pure as that baby prospect. He stayed away until circumstances made them be together. Now Dragon has to guard Cove and keeping his distance seems to be much More tough . With cove and his bratty personality, dragon knows that it's only a matter of time before his control breaks and he ends up taking everything he wants from the boy who has made the monster feel after so many years.

Overall Opinion :
There is no other author who writes MM as amazingly as This one does. I am a true sucker for K. Webster MM books and Dragon has been one of my most anticipated reads. Ever since I read Copper and got a whiff of this couple, I knew they would be downright explosive. And so they were!

Damn, this standalone hit me right in the feels! Dragon wasn't a lengthy book but I am in awe of how the author managed to wrap up an amazing tale within it. Dragon and Cove stole my heart. Especially Dragon. He simply broke my heart. His history was something no one should ever experience and I hated that so much for him. He deserved all the love Cove could give him and I am so glad that he got his happy ending!

Definitely recommending this book to all the Dark MM romance loving people out there! This one is the best MM ever but please make sure to check the triggers before picking this one up.

Dragon & Cove, Oh my heart!! 😭😍 Webster NAILED it with this book! These two are so fucking perfect together *Swoon*. I adore this MC, Had fun binge reading this series & DEVOURED this in around 5hrs.

I love Dragon & Cove so much! They're opposites, but their fire burns HOT. Cove makes Dragon's Psycho ass normal♥️. The gentleness, Affection & Vulnerability stole my heart 🥰. Their demons are same, But Dragon's are so severe. We found a lot about D's past in last book, immediately after which I dived into this one. Oh my D😭. Triggers here will be Past abuse (all types), Brutality, Torture of Bad guys *Evil Cackle*. Can I just say, How happy I am that Co+D got together? Cause I so am!! Plus, that Reunion b/w Dragon & his family makes me so happy 😭🥰😍. The Revenge was GOOD.

I can't believe this is the last book of the series, but it was so fun...& That HEA filled me with Joy. Here Filter & Bermuda find their HEA with their ladies too, Yay!!

Dragon is a crazy psycho beast and Cove is a smart mouthed baby but together they are pure heat.
They fight and mouth at each other and eventually Dragon claims his baby and takes his man.
So many hot spicy moments and other beautiful moments in this story that will melt your heart.
An amazing addition to this series as we see all the dark and pain that these characters have going through and how they overcome their past and find a beautiful happy ending.

Since I started down the rabbit hole of the RBMC series I have wanted Dragon's story and it's finally here!

We got glimpses of what he went through in previous books. Taken in his youth and put through some of the most imaginable things Dragon has a one track mind now - take out the man who broke him. In their last attempt the sweet young Cove became entangled in the mess. Dragon is drawn to Cove and Cove seems to be the only one to keep the Dragon at bay. These two fought their feelings but couldn't ignore being drawn together. Both of these characters surprise me in how sweet and soft Dragon could be and how strong Cove turned to be. Loved them for each other!

Dragon (Chase) and Cove come from such tragic pasts, it’s amazing how anyone could come back from something like that. More so for Dragon than anyone else. So, it’s easy to see how vengeance becomes the driving force to his existence. And oh, what a spectacular way he delivers…😏

I love Dragon’s character – sexy  – scary – dangerous – wild and so, so possessive of Cove. And Cove, being the little firecracker that he is – is practically a perfect match for Dragon. They shouldn’t make sense – but are perfect for each other. Dragon’s reunion with his family was beautiful – his mom was awesome and I love how fierce she turned out to be.

As for Night Giant – he’s the villain that you wish you could kill with your bare hands. You won’t want to put this down until you see Dragon put that mofo down…❤️❤️

Dragon and Cove are two battered men, in both body and soul. They share a terrible past. Victims of intense and unimaginable horrors.
The characters in this book have played an important role in the books previous in this series so I was extremely excited for them to get a book.(I recommend reading Koyn and Copper before this book, it makes all the difference in my opinion.)
I feel so much empathy for these characters. I was so invested in their story.
Dragon and Cove both deal with their horrible past quite differently. They are extremely different types of men.
Cove is the calm to Dragon’s storm.
They have a bit of enemy/hate vibes at first, their past holds a lot of pain and confusing feelings for them.
The author infuses surprising moments of tenderness from these wonderful, rough characters. And it’s in the middle of their crazy, violent world. It’s really quite clever and it adds so much depth and emotions to a story that is much more than I think it may appear to some.
There’s a lot of emotions flying around.
There’s really hot, sexy and naughty times with Cove and Dragon. They are intense together! It’s really a multilayered relationship, it’s not easy or simple. It’s very passionate!

~”We’re in sync. I know what he wants because I want it too. This chaotic mix of roughness blended with beautiful pleasure. A two-sided coin of pain and bliss.”~

The story has suspense and action.
There’s things from the past that rear their head and cause chaos.
There’s wonderful dry humor from the characters that breaks the intensity.
All the characters have their comedic moments.
There’s SO much to this story!
The affects of of trauma and dealing with trauma are a big part of this story. Opening one’s self up to affection, love and sex are big themes that touched me.
Revenge! Vengeance is a huge part of this story. It plays out in quite a few unexpected ways. It kept me on edge and was perfect. One brutal scene made my dark loving heart so giddy.
So, yes there’s violence, darkness and uncomfortable things in the story. I think it’s perfectly done and I absolutely LOVED it!
I love the characters so much! The story is very fulfilling. It’s such an incredible story!

Copy received from the author. Voluntarily reviewing and all opinions are objective and my own.

This is EASILY my favourite of the series and I knew it would be. Dragon is exactly the male character I love to read about. He’s demanding, alpha, and incredibly sweet. More than that though, he has a weakness after a hellish traumatic past. One discussed in previous books but comes to head in this one.

Similarly, “Baby Prospect” Cove encountered the same past but after a situation involving Dragon and his sister, he hates the guy, even while feeling attracted to him. With Dragon’s personality though, I love how this guy had no chance at all. Their romance was hot and sweet, exactly K Webster’s speciality.

I loved the plot. Straightforward and easy to read, but still traumatic and interesting, and most importantly entertaining.

According to backmatter, this is the final book of the series, but I realllllly want a Calla and Filter book. This one SETS IT UP in such a great way, and man, I need it more than I need water. I think it’d be the perfect ending to the series.

Dragon is the third book in K. Webster’s Royal Bastards MC: Tulsa, OK series, and I was eager to dive into this one after enjoying the prior books. In fact, this was the story I was most excited to read.

I’ll be honest and say this was not as dark as I had expected, but that was not enough to take away from my enjoyment of this one. It hooked me right away, pulled me in deep, and I happily devoured the story in a single sitting. Everything about this one had me unable to put it down, eager to see how everything would come together. There were some scenes I would have liked to see more of, but it was not enough to take away my enjoyment of the story.

Without a doubt, this is a must read for those who enjoyed the prior books in the series. I cannot wait to see what comes next for the series.

Oh man! K has does it again! I was wondering where this book would go and wow I was off base on how things would play out. I felt so many things while reading Dragon and BPs story. From happiness to anger to sadness. Dragons story broke my heart. What he went though was so sad but I loved seeing how Cove could be there for him. Cove was just what Dragon needed and I loved it. I won’t give anything away but it was such a good book and a great addition. 5 stars #2OCCJD

So Good!

Dragon is psychotic but for good reason. Being kidnapped, abused, and tortured does that to you. At the same time he even made me swoon. Baby prospect Cole was also in the situation but it wasn't the same for him.

Dragon is determined to kill the Giant for what happened to him. The only two that can help calm him is his best friend Katana and his Sassy bottom.

I really was happy to see people from when he was younger even though the circumstances were not great. You never truly know who you let in your house, it could be the monster himself. Hey! The Dragon got his vengeance.

I love K. Webster’s MM books and this one didn’t disappoint. It was really good and I very much enjoyed it. It doesn’t have a 5 star rating because I felt that some of the things that were said were cringey, but it was still a good romance.

Anyways I loved Dragon and his bitchy bottom. I definitely recommend this book. Toodles!

I was captivated by the story from the very beginning!! Dragon’s story is not typical in any regards and most shocking is his better half. I didn’t see that one coming but Cove is an excellent fit for Dragon. Dragon had a rough upbringing, kidnapped and sex trafficked from a young age but that shapes him into the man he becomes-A killer with no remorse. He is recaptured almost a decade later where he meets Cove. After being rescued he is charged with protecting Cove. But danger lurks just around the corner can these to survive? Can these to be together?

DRAGON!!!

Baby, Dragon is a dirty, dirty man.. he's gonna have readers dripping from all the raunchiness.

Cove ain't much cleaner...

Webster's gonna have her readers foaming at the mouth, flipping pages and changing panties!

If you've been following the Royal Bastards series from the get go then you know Dragon and Cove have some serious baggage and heartbreaking back stories. This installment of the RB books takes the reader into the darkness that tends to consume both of these characters.

I am obsessed with these two!

I received an eARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

My lord. This book and series really kicked my ass.

And this book in particular?? I’m basically dead now. This book was so easy to get caught up in. I haven't read book two yet, but I really think that Dragon and Cove are my favorites. The dark viciousness of their love really pulled me in, sunk its teeth into me and wouldn't let up. I knew after reading book one that I was going to love Dragon’s book. The intensity between these two just radiates off the pages. I did think that was going to be a little bit darker but it didn't disappoint one bit. I highly recommend reading this series in order to understand everything that’s going on. Though I don't think it’s totally necessary to do, it just helps you understand all of the characters you are introduced to. I think this book and series if someone is looking for something a little different and dark. K. Webster really knows how to do the dark, nitty and gritty. If you do think about reading this series please make sure that you read the trigger before going into this book. It is not for everyone, especially the faint of heart. Overall, I really enjoyed this book. And even though this is the last book in the series, I think there are still a few stories that need to be told!

3.5 Stars ⭐️

I’m not usually one to go for MC novels but if K a Webster wrote it, I’ll give it a try. Needless to say I wasn’t disappointed. True to Kristi’s style both characters are incredibly broken and shit gets off the chain. I’m glad I chose to read one of her MCs because she never shies away from the brutal, gritty details. If you don’t have a stomach for torture you probably don’t wanna go for Dragon (or any of her Royal Bastard MC books) but I for one enjoyed that aspect. It’s in my opinion, true to the life these guys lead. This is not a sweet motorcycle gang. At all.

Both Dragon and Cove went through some epically terrible shit. It’s no shock that they ended up drawn together but I do wish that we had a bit more of the development between the two. It starts as lust, no one really understands exactly what either of them needs beside the other. Dragon definitely threw me off with his own personal revelations within himself compared to how his character behaved in the previous two books. It made my heart break for him a little more. Cove is an easy character to understand. His actions made sense throughout the story line and I loved how he learned to reach beyond Dragon’s walls. He’s the only one that could and it gave this pair the level of sweetness you needed under the surface of all the anger and revenge.

In the end, Dragon’s story was absolutely the one I enjoyed reading the most. The Royal Bastards MC world has a ton of books and I am interested in a few others, like Loki’s story. Although this is the end of Kristi’s run with these characters it’s wrapped up pretty well for the Tulsa chapter. I didn’t have any question at the end, just a need to have a little more.

Before I start my review, I will say this - there are triggers in this read, if you are sensitive please be mindful of the warnings at the beginning before you dive in.

I will never tire of the talent K Webster bestows upon the reading world. This book right here proves she continues to write extraordinary romances that are one seat reads.

She pulled me back into the world of the Royal Bastards MC, this time being Dragon’s tale. It’s the perfect mix of gut punch emotions and flashbacks, action, on the edge of your seat suspense and panty melting steam.

Dragon and Cove has to be one of my favorite couples that K has written. Both of them have been thru a type of Hell that no one ever deserves to go thru and they made it out. They are survivors, haunted by their pasts and fueled by the need for revenge and each other. I loved the push and pull between them - Cove’s calmness and sass being the perfect light to Dragon’s psychotic dark. Both are broken, but they learn that they are each other’s perfect match to replace their missing pieces.

K secured the final nail of delight to my little black soul with the insane twist and turns and then wrapping it up in bloody beautiful perfection when revenge was successfully won. I loved every single word and don’t regret ignoring work emails to devour this.

Though this can be a standalone novel, I do really think you get the best experience if you read the previous two books by K Webster in the Royal Bastards MC series, "Koyn" and "Copper" - they were both amazing and you won't regret checking them out!

In any case, you *need* to check out Dragon. If you like dark MC romance, particularly a MM romance - this read was incredible. I was utterly intrigued by Dragon, himself, as I read Koyn and Copper. He's dark and scary and crazy and tragic and I wanted to know his entire story and I wanted to find out who would be able to handle all his fire and intensity.

Dragon was once a young man with a bright future - beautiful and talented with so much to look forward too. But it was all taken away by a terrifying person and the seedy, terrifying world of sex trafficking, torture and unimaginable awfulness that exists. He's forever changed and scarred. And though he eventually escapes, the shadow of its impact never fades.

Until he meets Cove Gale, or Baby Prophet (BP). And it's not that the shadows fade... but in BP, Dragon finds someone who has his own shadows and doesn't mind being in those shadows as long as it's with Dragon.... well, eventually. There's a little bit of hesitancy on BP's part but their story to finding their version of peace is pretty incredible. K Webster weaves a tale that is just utterly enthralling, sexy, emotional, dark and sometimes scary, in the best way possible.

This was by far my favorite book in this trilogy and I've completely fallen for K Webster's ability to craft amazing MM romances.

I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Dragon is the last book in the Royal Bastards MC: Tulsa, OK series, and while I read it as a standalone, I think reading the previous two books might make the experience better.

Dragon was taken from his family when he was a teenager and endured unspeakable things at the hands of his captor, who controlled him and made him do things that have shaped him into the man he's now. Cove lived through a similar experience, but to a lesser degree. Now they are both part of the Tulsa, OK Chapter and will need to put their differences aside to take down a common enemy.

Okay, so, first, heed the warnings, because this book is dark. K. Webster didn't shy away from writing the violence that takes place in the story, although thankfully other scenes at the start of the book with what Dragon had to do under the influence of Night Giant, were mostly mentioned. Still, it definitely wasn't an easy read. It's emotional and angsty, a veritable rollercoaster of feelings and emotions as Dragon works through his issues and gets closer to Cove.

Dragon and Cove were so good together. I loved that Cove was so sassy and fought back at every single moment. And Dragon, well, he broke my heart with all he went through. I was glad Cove knew that Dragon wouldn't hurt him, even when he was privy to the unrestrained violence Dragon was capable of.

This is definitely a read not for the faint of heart, but oh so worth it in the end. Highly recommendable!
